University of East Anglia Scholarships for African Students in UK, 2017

Brief description: University of East Anglia is offering Lord Walston Scholarship for African applicants working in natural resource based projects. The scholarship is awarded to study MA Agriculture and Rural Development, the MSc Environment and International Development or the MSc Climate Change and International Development.

All applicants to the University of East Anglia must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of English language before they can be admitted onto any course or programme.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing master programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to study MA Agriculture and Rural Development, the MSc Environment and International Development or the MSc Climate Change and International Development.

Scholarship Award: The Scholarship covers Full Fees and Maintenance (living expenses).

Scholarship will be taken in the UK

Eligibility: One Lord Walston Scholarship may be available, on the basis of academic excellence, for applicants from Africa who are working in natural resource based projects (agriculturalist/natural resource) applying for a place on the MA Agriculture and Rural Development, the MSc Environment and International Development or the MSc Climate Change and International Development.

Nationality: Applicants from Africa can apply for University of East Anglia Scholarships.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: The minimum academic requirement across the University for entry to a doctoral degree is either at least a 2:1 in a UK undergraduate degree, or a Master’s degree, or equivalent. Some Schools and research degree programmes have higher or more specific requirements.
English Language Requirement: All research programmes within the Social Sciences (SSF) require an overall score of IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in all components.

How to Apply: All eligible candidates to whom the School have made an offer are automatically considered for nomination.

Application Deadline: The application deadline is March 31, 2017.
